Had a hard but productive day yesterday installing a new cable for an unrated shower. Only thing was, a little old lady asked me a) was i leaving my van there & b) how long i was going to be.
After she had finished, i found out that my van was blocking the light from her front room that was being ccupied by her 'cat'.
I had explained my van was big & was going to be there all day, but i did move it 2 feet just to make her happy. The lengths I will go to just to make a lady happy (made no difference to the light in her lounge tho !)

Well Monday came, electrical Inspection this morning, & then before you know it tuesday is here !
New customer, low energy lighting in the salon.....sorted !
so what does Wednesday bring..... a place by the sea i feel, existing customer that needs my expertise I think. Then before you can blink it's the weekend again.

half way throught the weekend already, oh well. busy couple of weeks ahead so i guess i will have to knuckle down !!!

Solar Photovoltaic course & Working at heights safely

What a start to the week, 3 full on days in a classroom again.
I returned to Steve Willis training centre again this week to boost my collection certificates held to date. Following todays 'marathon' exam criteria I can now announce I can safely work at heights & i am one huge step nearer to being MCS accredited (solar panel installer).
Harsh reality of life.... back to work tomorrow !

A busy week

I would just like to say how busy the week has been. Started a partial refurb this week in Middleton-on-sea which has so far gone really well, despite burning out 3 hole cutters. What was that ceiling made off ?
